Odeeno

Vincenzo Martinelli a.k.a Odeeno was born in Naples on 5 July 1991, he began to approach the hiphop culture in 2003. Starting to become passionate about self-taught break dance and particularly with various friends.
From 2005 onwards he began to take an interest in the art of writing, making himself known under the name of WEGO as the first "tag" together with Carm and Muny, friends of crew.
In 2007 they formed a crew and Carm and Muny began to walk the way of the mc'ing while Odeeno began to get passionate about beatmaking.
The first instruments used to compress the first beats were various software including Reason and FruityLoops with the production of beats initially structured in a simple way using looped samples and sampled drums. He then began to perform various sound researches slowly by listening to various soul, funk, reggae and blues musicians and listening to various beatmakers and understand how to give a theme and be recognized in his beats.
Starting to work I begin to buy various controllers as the sound attitude is totally digital. The first instrument purchased was an AKAI MPD 32 accompanied by a sound card (M-audio fast track pro) and other controllers, sampling from cassettes and discs.
The beatmakers who most influenced him were: Jay Dilla, Madlib, Pete Rock, Dj Premier.
