Superior

Superior aka Marcos Oviedo of Spanish origin and grown up in Germany, got his musical roots at a very early age being involved in the German breakdance scene since the early 80s and listening intensively to Funk & Soul music from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
At the same time he developed his love for Hip Hop being heavily influenced over the years by groups and artists such as Public Enemy, NWA, Hijack, Gunshot, Silver Bullet, DJ Premier, Wu-Tang and Mobb Deep to name a few.
Working many years in collaborations, Superior finally decided to lay hands on his own projects. In 2015 he released his solo album "Scenes", which includes 13 instrumental tracks containing soul samples from the 60s and 70s, plus a feature with Declaime (Stones Throw Records, USA).
